This chain letter type thing was Rae's facebook status yesterday. I do not lilke chainletters or reposting things in my status update but I felt this was too good not to share
It has been said that everlasting friends go long periods of time without speaking and never question the friendship. These friends pick up like they just spoke yesterday, regardless of how long it has been or how far away they live, and they don't hold grudges. They understand that life is busy…… and…you will ALWAYS love them.
I feel this statement could not be more true. Especially in this time where friendships are ever changing for me. People have come and gone through out my life but I like to keep in mind that is important to hold those dear to you close. I have friends from high school and college that have moved all over the country since graduation but that doesn't mean our friendships will be any different.
and I guess the same could go for my co-workers from NLBP. If I had realized that immediately after leaving the Barn Playhouse then my issues with moving on from stuff that happened there (and my eventual falling out with Will Porter) could have easily been avoided.
This blog is for general ranting and stuff that goes on my every day life in work and relationships. Stuff that is incredibly personal will not be posted on this blog. For all theatre related commentary please go to my Theatre is My Life blog.

Thought for the day= Passages of Time
Last Friday was the Souhegan Graduation. I couldn't go to the ceremony because I had to work but I was thinking a lot about it. A few kids who I work with in Riverbend Youth Company graduated as well as three of my neighbors and I hope they will accomplish grest things whereever their paths after Souhegan will lead them.
With this significant event I realize that pretty soon I realize that my 10 year reunion from Souhegan is fast apporaching in three years. Dare I say this should be an interesting experience. I look foward to seeing where paths away from Souhegan and Amherst have led my fellow classmates.

Gym Mileage for June
Took a few weeks off from going to the gym as I made my transition between Project Search and starting my job at the YMCA. I find now that I am working at the Y I am more motivated to work out then I was when I went to Planet Fitness.. I have started Zumba which I take on Sunday mornings from 10-11am and absolutely love!! I give lots of credit to Rae Demoose for reccommending that I take it. It's quite the work out. I work muscles I haven't worked before in that class. I get to work early and go use the machines. So far I mainly use the bike but I think I may make a transition to use the treadmill often because I can get my heart rate up to 130 quicker on the treadmill than I can on the bike.
Gym Mileage for June
Zumba Sunday 6/12 and 6 /26
Bike: General heart rate is in betwen the range of 103-115. Mileage varies depending on the day but is in the range between 1 and 2 miles. There have been a few times when I have gotten up to 3 or 4 miles. It varies dependng on what time I get to work and how long I hace to work out.

Some final thoughts on Project Search
Project Search graduation is in a little under 4 hours. Some parting reflections.
Last August when I started I really had no idea what to expect out of Project Search. One thing I was hoping for was to get an internship that would give me more public relations experience and that was really my only main disappointment overall. In general it was a great experience and I really gained a lot of new knowledge I had never had before. There were some days when I felt I had a lot of down time and I feel that there should be certain sites next year that shouldn't be options for internships. I wouldn't say there was no work to do but there were days where there could have been more work to do then there was. IT and Cardiac Rehab are examples of that. On the positive side when it comes to Cardiac Rehab I did learn a lot of stuff I didn't know before about heart attacks and heart falure and how they can both be prevented. I will touch a little more on this in the speech I am to give at gradaution tonight.
Our of the three internships I would say the Front Desk was my favorite one because of all the people interaction that I got and also how I learned my way around the hospital ... by the end
I was pretty much a pro. I enjoyed delivering the mail and the flower arrangements to the patients the best of all.
The first three weeks of my job at the YMCA has gone very well so far. I look very foward to incoporating the skills I learned from Project Search into my job at the Welcome Center.
Congrats to my fellow classmates and thanks to all my coworkers at my internship sites for all your help and guidance.

June is bustin out all over!
This song title from Carosuel fits my entry quite well... as we ware half way through June. Can't beleive fourth of July is almost here. Very excited. :{)
Last we left I recounted the events on Sonya's birthday weekend and mentioned how excited I was for the DVD viewing party for Music Man at Paula Troie's house. Unfourtunately I forgot my camera that night so I don't have any pictures to share camera with me I wouldn't have not taken any pictures... Matt actually had hia caemra with him but as I just said things were kind of insane. The party was fun though. So great to see my cast mates again and the DVD came out fantastic. :) I wonder if Rich Sparks is planing on making copies of the backstage footage he took that he showed us before the cast party at Set Strike. hmmmm... Our plans to go to the Seadogs game got rained out so we ended up going out to lunch at J's Tavern and going to see Bridesmaids instead. Bridesmaids is hillarious. Highly reccommendable!: )
My job at the Y is going inceredibly well. I am learning something new everyday and love my co-workers. Got paid last week and it felt real good to get my first pay check. Besides work my week last week was not very exciting. Wednesday I went over to Toby's house for a Princess Kim Play meetimg. We read through the script which is coming along qute nicely. Andrew also played one of the songs for us and he did a nice job on it. Video footage can be seen at http://princesskimthemusical.blogspot.com/.
Wednesday was also me and Matt's 3 year anniversary. We celebrated last night by going out to dinner at San Fransisco Kitchen after work and then watching movies at my house. We watched Paul Blart Mall Cop which was hillarious. When that movie first came out I was reluctant to see it becaause I personally felt it looked kind of stupid but I ended up liking it. Jayma Mays is in it (she plays the guidance counselor on Glee btw) and I thought she was really good in that movue. I hope she does more movies. Today was Father's Day. We stopped off at my neighbor's graduation party for a bit then went up to Maine to go to Drake's Island Beach for the afternoon and we went out to Dinner on the way home.
So excited for Sunday. Going to see Guys and Dolls at Summer Theatre In Meredith Village :)
Right now it's time for bed. Must be well rested Project Search graduation rehearsal at 9:30am. Must be chipper!

Thought For The Day Money
Once again money seems ever so elusive. I wanted to rent out a function room at Jillian's for my birthday but I found out it's too expensive and I can't really afford it. On the plus side I can still go out to dinner at Jillian's with my friends and have the same amount of fun. The big issue with money it's really hard to cut back on things I want to do but the main goal is to put enough money aside to get my own apartment by the fall or next spring. Cutting back is hard because I have to eliminate going to so many plays because the ticket prices add up afteer awhile. I got Season Passes for Interlakes Summer Theatre though and I can't wait to see their shows. Another hold back is going to see so many movies...I may have to make some cutbacks with how many times I go to the theatre to go see a movie this and wait for a majority of them to come out on DVD. The one exception I will make to this rule is Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part II.
Another goal for the summer was that Rae was going to come visit. Right now everything is still up in there air because her job search process is still in the works. We are aiming towards sometime in August perhaps around my birthday. Right now I must waiti paitently to hear of what kind of job she gets and if her schedule will allow her to come visit.

Busy!
Haven't updated in about a month. What's been new? Quuite a bit.
First of all if you read previous pasts from this blog and my Operation Job blog I got a job at the YMCA. Heading strong into my second week and so far I am loving every minute of that. The people at the Y are so nice and welcoming. I have a feeling I will really like working there. That will certainly keep me busy. In addition to that I also have a freelance writing job at Interlakes Summer Theatre. Looking so foward to their season this year. You can be more informed about what shows they are doing and read reviews at http://theatrereviewer826.blogspot.com .
As outlined in my goal Newest Goal : To Read More I have a full list ahead of books to read this summer. Let's see how many books I can read by August 31st. If some books caarry over into September it won't really be a big deal. Memorial Day weekend I went to Canobie Lake with MAtt Sonya Julie and Penny. It was such a blast. It was so nice to go back to Canobie Lake after not being back there for awhile. I had forgotten how much fun it was there. Last week I started my job and then this weekend we cekebrated Sonya's birthday. Friday night I went over Julie's and we had a cake for Sonya and played Apples To Apples and American Idol Karaoke. Such a good time! Saturday I worked til 7 then we had a bbq for my Aunt Diane's 50th birthday which was fun. Wonderful bbqing weather too, That's what so lovely about summer. Yesterday I had the day off so MAtt and I went to the Y so he could sign up for a membership then we met Sonya for lunch at Bertucci's for her birthday. With my diet I haveto be really choose of what I eat when I go out and sometimes and sometimes it can get frusturating but on occassuons such as birthdays it's a good time to splurge.
I am super excited for Saturday night. DVD viewing party for Music Man Paula's house. Can't wait to see how the DVD came out then on Sunday Matt and I are going to a Seadogs game and hope to meet up with Cooper if he doesn't have to work.
One goal that I'm hoping to complete is that Rae will come visit this summer. I miss her a ton and need her back in my life. July is pretty busy so I'll have to figure out sometime in August when she can come down to visit... I am leaning toward my birthday weekend so that she can come to my party. We will see what schedules and her budget will hold.
I am also in charage of planning my Family Olympics this year. I am super excited. This year our them is Broadway Survivor! It's going to be such a blast.
Til later.
