Thought for the day- I second that emotion

I am going through my collection of poens on all poetry.com trying to determine which poems and short stories to move over to fictionpresss.com.

The more I look over all the poems I wrote throughout the course of my Barn Playhouse depression and moving on from Will Porter the more I realize most of those poems should have probably not even been posted on the website to begin with. I would have been a lot better off keeping them in a private notebook. In all honesty thhey make me look really obsessive. I will admit looking back on the whole drifting apart from Will issue that I was emotionally attached and kind of obssessed with him. In certain ways I actually can't really blame him for not wanting to talk to me all this time. I mostly dug that friendship into a hole and buried it.
Que sera sera whatever will be will be

There's one particular poem called Rebirth that I wrote last June that I might actually write a follow up poem to. That poem mostly focussed on the geneal aspects of getting over the depression and not so much "OMG Will hates me and doesn't want to be my friend anymore.

Other than that when it comes to writing poetry I think it's time to start with completely clean slate. I've been so engrossed in writing fan fiction in the past two years I haven't really written much poetry. Time to get back in the saddle and get my poetic muse reharnessed. :)

Rock me like a hurricane

Hurricane Irene has made land fall in New England. We mostly have torrential downpours. I am so glad I moved my birthday party to Friday. Today is definitely NOT a good day for people to be driving. New York City is getting hit partiacualary hard so I hope all my friends down there are safe.
Speaking of my birthday it was a great day. I worked from 4-8 then my parents took me out to dinner at my favorite resturant You You's. 26 is going to be the best yet I have a feeling. Looking forward so much to the year ahead. Rae was unable to come to my party so the goal of getting together with her still lingers I am hoping that she and her boyfriend can come visit on New Years Eve. The goal is to go Boston for 1st nigh festivities.

Summer Reading Ratings

Summer 2011 Reading Ratings

^= previously read

And Furthermore A-

A Raisin In The Sun B

And Then There Were None C. This book was pretty decent though I would not rate it as one of my favorites. It was definitley intense and hard to put down. Generally speaking I am not a huge fan of murder mysteries and am not sure if I would read more of Agatha Chritie's books. I may audition for the play but I am not sure which character I would best fit the criteria for. Fun Fact: The board game Clue is loosely based off this book.

Blessed Are The Cheese Makers B

Bossypants A- This book was impossible to put down. Truly a great read. Tina Fey is hysterical.

Little Bee B-

Tess of The D'Ubervilles C- This book was 457 pages long... I only got 150 pages in before realizing it was terribly boring then I stopped.

^The Curious Incident of A Dog In The Night Time B-

The Help A- Most interesting and intriguing book I have read to date. The movie verson gets a similar rating.

I didn't do as well with my summer reading list as I would of liked to but this is an ongoing goal for me.

Reviewing the situation

This is furthur thoughts that build off the entry End of An Era and a new beginning for me (816/11) in my Theatre Is My Life Blog http://theatrereviewer826.blogspot.com/

If people don't already know this I have a learning disability on the Asberger's spectrum. Due to this disabilltity I tend to get obsessed over things. People from my Barn Playhouse intern company and my other friends could easily see that through out the past couple years though I have calmed down a lot recently as far as the anxiety goes related to the Barn. As I was transferring old entries from my livejournal to this blog lots of entries didn't make the cut that was mostly because they showed me in a very poor light. They were mostly entries in regards to my falling out with Will Porter one of my co-workers from NLBP. This falling out was a component to my depression. I was not willing to admit to myself or anyone else that I was a little obsessed with Will at that time but looking back on the fall of 2007 I can honestly say that I was. I stupidly had a crush on him the whole summer at the Barn and even more stupidly admitted to him after the fact that I had a crush on him the whole entire summer knowing full well that he was gay. The whole crush thing is actually pretty laughable because obviously he is gay and we in would have never been able to date. In the big scheme of things that was probably a big determent to our friendship not the "disagreement" I thought I had put Nicolina Sciascia in the middle of which in the end wasn't a disagreement at all. We haven't spoken to eachother since we left NLBP.
There are 2 sides to this coin
Side #1:  If I give him a little more time maybe he will contact me... of course that's been my mindset for 4 years and nothing has come of anything.
Side #2:  If he hasn't made a sizeabe effort to stay in  contact with me it may be best to let things go at this point. I certainly don't want to make it  look like I'm still obsessed with him when  I'm obviously not.  I don't want to seem like a stalker either.

The other component to my deperssion is outlined at the beginnnig of the entry End Of An Era and a new beginning for me in my Theatre Is My Life blog. As I say in that entry I was definitley resentful to the changes that were happening at the Barn. I was unwilling to accept that the Barn was not going to be the same place I remembered it as when I worked there in 2007. That was all a matter of accepting and embracing change. Had I done that originally then there were many group emails to everyone in my intern company that would have been non-existant. While I have awareness that no one has forgotten that summer at the Barn I had the biggest issue with grasping that people were moving on with their lives and starting their own careers. I have kept in touch with certain people sporadically since leaving the Barn and am always excited to see them again and find out what they have been up too. This is why it has been so great to see shows at Summer Theatre In Meredith Village because Nancy has hired quite a few people from my intern company in the past couple years. :)

So yes.. it undoubtley took me longer than it should of to move on from the Barn Playhouse but I have finally reached a point where I have. Accepting change... embracing it. Accepting that memories are not forgotten and friendships and above all LOVE is there! :)

The Epidemic Of College Football Scandals - National News Story - WMUR New Hampshire

The Epidemic Of College Football Scandals - National News Story - WMUR New Hampshire

This is a very innteresting article on College Football scandals I found on WMUR.com. Never even knew there so many scandels out there in the NCAA but then again I only watch games and follow scores I don't really pay attention much to what goes on behind the scenes.

Also today's livejournal writer's block question was which tv show do you think should be cancelled. I'm going to go with How I Met Your Mother. That show was really good the first season but this past seasons the plots seemed really dull. They need to stop dragging it out so much. I am hopeful that Glee will be better in this last season with the current cast. Last season was not as impressive than season too. All the reality tv shows should be cancelled because they've been on tv too long and are getting really old. Jersey Shore should def be cancelled because it is incredibly offensive to Italians and people from New Jersey.

Still slightly confused

So I am still confused as to why Bobby Matoney contacted me a few weeks ago to take that video down off youtube that I didn't post. I am postively i am looking too deeply into the situation but for some reason I am linking the reason behind him contacting me to be to my Barn Playhouse depression.

I will never know the answer though and I find this to be somewhat frusturating. I would assume everyone would be able to tell I'm over my depression by now.

I used to be think that I had something to prove to everyone from my intern company that I was over my depression now I know this is not the case. I know everyone is still friends with me and that they have moved on from the Barn

Clarification of this issue would be nice though and appreciated greatly. Hopefully I'll get it eventually.

Clarity

Tuesday afternoon I had an eye doctors appointment at Perkins School for The Blind in Watertown Massachuetts. There are some things I have always wondered about my disabilities and they were clarified during that meeting. I have Cortial Visual Blindess (CVI) which means some images do not process to the brain fast enough. I am spatially blind which means I have trouble seeing things in space. I wondered why I was having such a hard time with doing certain things at Target and that definitley clarifies that point for me. I couldn' t be happier that I now have some clarity when it comes to my disabillties. :)

Google CVI to learn more about it.

Dacning queen

Yesterday during a lull at work I was looking through the fall program guide. I need to add more to my phyiscal activity circut besides Zumba and my daily workout before work. I am either going to sign up for the Dance Sampler class or sign up for Bollywood or Bellydancing class. Can't decide what I'd rather do, I also think it would be a good investment to take Karate classes. If I'm going to live on my own I need to know how to protect myself.

Wow just wow

Last night I saw Harry Potter and The Deahtly Hallows Part II with Julie. I was blown away by the movie... epic battles.. intense moments it kept me on the edge my seat the whole time. I almost cried at certain scenes and I still feel pretty emotional about the movie aa a whole. This is the end of an ERA for all fans of Harry Potter. No more books. No more movies. On the bright side there is Pottermore an interactive website designed by JK Rowling that has intereactive versions of all the books and games. I orginally thought I wanted early acesss but I thought about it some more and figured I would much rather wait til it is released to the public in October to see what is will hold. :)

Autopsy Scheduled After Missing Girl's Body Found - New Hampshire News Story - WMUR New Hampshire

This is the saddest thing ever. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I am predicting the step-father is guilty of something he looked a little unstable during his WMUR yesterday. RIP Celina Cass
