My life needs to be DRAMA FREE

So this entry kind of connects to my entry from a few weeks ago 2nd family Stress no more about my NEC friends and how much drama there has been between everyone in the past two years.

I've had a hard time accepting that there has been too much damage done between certain people that can not be fixed but at this point I think it is best to accept that and move on. I find it to be best to distance myself from the drama because trust me I don't have the interest time or energy to deal with other people's problems. I have too much of my own shit going on between trying to find a job and paying back my college loans. As I previously mentioned my biggest regret is not distancing myself from the drama in the beginning. As much as I still wanted to remain friends with everyone I found the fact that I was constantly being asked my opinon about fights I wasn't even involved in to be stressful and emotionally taxing. As much as I do enjoy keeping in touch the people at NEC who I am still friends with I just can't deal with even HEARING about all this immature drama anymore.. it just pains me too much that people who are in college can't freaking ACT THEIR AGE and have to constantly start shit and distance themselves from people who still WANT to be friends with them. It just pisses me off and drives me nuts. I can't deal with it anymore.
Sorry to admit but this is the reason why I am not going to be going to Henniker as much as I used to this semester. I just can't take all this shit or even hearing about the constant cylce of drama that's been going on since I graduated. I am definitley happy to see the two people I actually go get to see when I go to visit Laura and her boyfriend Joe and Leanna but it just makes me so sad/mad that people are unable to act like adults and put thier differences aside so we can get together and catch up LIKE WE USED TO. As I said earlier I think it's best to accept the honest truth of the matter and move on. Make new friends and still keep in touch with the friends from NEC who I've stayed in touch with since I graduated that DO NOT CAUSE DRAMA.

Here is a poem I wrote in regards to this issue.

Goodbye To Drama
I can't put up
with the stress this shit putson me anymore
Don't you guys see the big picture?
I honestly don't think you do.
I'm being blunt herehonest and true.
Foolish arguments
juvenile disagreements
The big picture is
that the way you've been acting
is affecting everyone.
Our once tight knit familywill never be the same again
This causes everyone the greatest amount of pain.
You've clealry made your choice
while it's disappointing we respect it
we really don't have much of an option.
We say goodbye to you
and this never ending cycle of drama
we can't put up with it
nor should we have to.
Perhaps goodbye is not forever
and when you realize how much
your actions have hurt everyonewe
can rekindle the friendships we once had
hopefully this is not wishful thinking
but for now we must say goodbye
to all of this childish drama
and shut it out of our lives.
