Not to be a general scrooge

For the record I am sick of snow. We still have a long way to go before the end of winter but ultimately I wish I was some place warmer. At least I have certain things to distract me such as how awesome the PTA play is going to be. :)
Here are snow totals
Post Christmas Storm ( estimate) half a foot
Noreaster on Jan 12th Half a foot (school was also cancelled the following day because of the sidewalks not being properly shoveled in Nashua) On my unexpected day off I went up to Warner with my mom and sister and went cross country skiing at my mom's friend's Lucinda's house in Warner
both storms from last Tuesday and Friday totaled about half a foot
We are expected to get another storm Tuesday in to Wednesday lord knows how much that storm will yield.
and we are supposed to get another huge storm Tuesday night into Wednesday which would mean potentially another snow day

I should see the glory in this really. But the downside is that our Project Search Graduation gets pushed back until June 21st. If we get any more snow days that would land us having school until the end of June or begining of July... not something i'm incredibly looking foward to.

With all this talk of snow you wonder how fast the month of January has go to. We're almost into February now with the super bowl coming up next Sunday. The Patriots, much to my disappointment are not in it this year so I am a temporary Green Bay Packers Fan. Go Pack GO! :) Between Music Man and Guys and Dolls Jr my schedule has been pretty hectic running back and forth between rehearsals. Guys and Dolls went really well. I am always impressed with the amount of talent that the kids in Riverbend Youth Company shows have. Music Man is going pretty well so far. Today I had my first dance rehearsal and for someone who's not that strong in dancing I think I did pretty well. We learned the dance for Marian The Libararian which takes place during the library scene where Harold Hill is courting Marian Paroo. It's a great dance. :) Yesterday Matt and I went bowling at Milford Lanes.. it was a good change up from Leda Lanes where we usually go. I scored a 153..which is pretty good 3 game score. I haven't kept close enough records of my past scores to make any type of comparison. We then went out to dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse whcih was deliciouos we then went to a Manchester Monarachs game.. the first one i've been to in about 8 years.. it was really intense. The Monarachs wons 3-2! :)

Lots to cover in the next several weeks!

Til next time

Janine
